finding purpose in my life

i have been couponing now for approximately six months. i have managed to stockpile a nice amount of grocery items as well as health and beauty items. initially i wanted to lower my ridiciously high grocery bills but i quickly started to realize that i was going to be stockpiling quite a bit of products. i made a couple of contributions to the troops overseas, which was awsome to be able to do, but i wanted to do more. i want to help families in delaware county.  this recession has hit a lot of people in our county and sometimes it is difficult to find the money to pay for groceries. i'm looking at my stockpile and thinking that i have enough rice to last ten years, enough cereal for at least a year, shampoo, razors, and toothbrushes for years to come.  something compells me to continue couponing, its like an obsession. then i realized what was happening.... maybe my purpose in life is to coupon. i'm still pretty new at it, but i am good at it. maybe through couponing i can help families in delaware county. i was given the name of an organization called Loaves & Fishes who i plan on contacting monday morning. they operate a food bank in prospect park pa.  the lovely ladies who were telling me about the organization filled me in on all the good things they do.

so my game plan is to contact loaves and fishes monday to schedule a time that i can drop off my first official donation from my ever growing stockpile. i'm very excited.

thank you to the ladies i met on friday. you were both very nice to me.

i'll see you wednesday and will bring a treat for you.
